In the past few years in this complex financial world many new instruments and institutions have emerged and are providing diverse financial services and NBFC is one of them. Full form of NBFC is non banking financial institutions, these institutions as the name suggests are those which do not have banking license still they operate like banks and provide services such as giving loans to public, wealth management, investment banking, insurance and so on. However they are not allowed to accept deposits from public which banks can.
